Project Overview
A previous client approached me looking to move away from their existing Wix site in favour of a more modern, professional online presence. The goal was to preserve the advanced e-commerce functionality they relied on while significantly improving the design and user experience.
I built an entirely new site using Astro and connected it to the Shopify API, allowing me to deliver a fully custom front-end with the powerful e-commerce capabilities Shopify provides. This headless approach gave the client the best of both worlds — a unique, performance-optimized site that didn’t sacrifice any of the product management, checkout, or inventory features they depended on.
The result was a faster, more visually distinct site that stood out from competitors while maintaining a seamless shopping experience.
