Project Overview
Alberta Vision Care approached me through a trusted relationship built from my previous work with India Garden and All India Restaurant. The company needed a complete rebuild of their website after losing access to the existing site due to issues with a previous developer.
I rebuilt the website from the ground up with a focus on reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability. Since the business only required occasional content updates, I chose to custom build the site using Astro with CloudCannon as the CMS instead of using a larger platform like WordPress. This provided a lightweight, fast, and secure solution while still allowing the client to easily manage minor content changes internally.
The final result was a modern, responsive website with a significantly more stable foundation and improved performance across devices.
